WorkCenter Questions & Task Tile Colors |
|
Can you explain and show me the appearance of a new WorkCenter? |
|
We can. Below is a description of a FULL COURSE (not a Behind-The-Wheel ONLY course) and an image showing it's appearance (as of June 20th, 2018).
You can read a WorkCenter HOW-TO document clicking HERE .
The WorkCenter is a grid of multi-colored task tiles configured to operate much like a common traffic signal.
Red (closed) are not available. Yellow waits for time to elapse. Green (open) means go. Red task tiles are only unlocked by a previous Green tile being complete. If a Green tile is an examination, then completion occurs when a minimum of 70% has been achieved.
The WorkCenter is worked from Module #1-#13. There are DE964 certificates at two places that need to be downloaded and printed to take to the DPS. One is at the end of Module #1. The other is in Module #14 all by itself.
When performing tasks (clicking on GREEN icons), the only way you can see the WorkCenter refresh is by clicking the big yellow View Coursework button at the top (if you have a "PARENT/CHILD" or "INSTRUCTOR" account type). For a "STUDENT" account type of an "INSTRUCTOR", just click the web browser reload button.
This is what a NEW WorkCenter looks like after it is purchased, before any tasks have been performed by the student on a FULL course.
